My approach is to photograph your day and to capture the whole story and romance of it. My photographic style focuses on light, composition, beauty and emotion as the perfect blend of fine art and editorial. I love real moments, combined with creative portraits that keep you engaged and moving throughout the day. This style gives you coverage of your wedding that is beautiful but also authentic.

Yes. I am proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom and every image I deliver to you will be edited. My editing approach is to create beautiful, genuine imagery. This includes color correction, lighting and overall artistic tone to give my photos the ethereal look and feel you see in my portfolio.
I have my own shot list that is always in my mind when it comes to wedding details, such as the rings, the gown and decor details. I spend many hours perfecting ways to capture these details creatively, so I don't need a list of those specific images.
What I do need to know from you, however, is the family portraits that you want taken. Also, please let me know about any special features of your wedding, such as a surprise performance, or fireworks, sparkler exits and such.
A word about table shots: They are so 1985 and extremely out-dated. We don’t do them. Instead we have roaming photographers capturing your guests during the cocktail hour and reception.
Your edited photos will be available to you in a beautiful private online proofing gallery. When this is available I will email you the link and passcode and you can then order prints, choose photos for your album, and download the high resolution images directly to your computer.
There will be a sneak peek posted the next day on the BBP Instagram and Facebook page. Your high resolution images will be sent to you 2-3 months after the wedding via your password protected online gallery. Turn around time for engagement, bridal or boudoir sessions is 4-6 weeks.
Every wedding needs formal group photos. Group formals are so important, especially when it's a rare opportunity to have all of your families gathered together in one place. I haven't photographed a single wedding without formal group photos. I will say that it's best to scout out a pretty location for this. If we can do them in a well-lit room, or even better, outside, it makes for much more interesting imagery than everyone at the alter of your church.
Yes. RAW files need to be color and exposure corrected. This is done by hand and I use professional grade software, and export them as jpeg images for you to use. The RAW unedited files are not available for viewing or purchase.
I would never try to copy another artist’s work, but you are welcome to share inspiration images with me. I’ll take all of your input into account as I approach your wedding.
